ADDING TO THE BARBIE HYPE

A major part of what I’ve learned in my course is catching trends and creating a profitable reaction to it. So naturally, when the Barbie Movie took over the world in 2023, my peers and I collaborated on marketing a new project for Mattel Inc. We brainstormed the idea to create an Immersive Barbie Dream House, targeting kids, but more importantly, hitting the “nostalgia factor” for adults. We included our hands-on marketing tactics, our strategic locations, incentives from attending the immersive experience, and lastly, in order to make it accessible, we offered an online version of the experience.
